Our good friends & affiliates over at Manikin have launched yet ANOTHER great addition to their brand, The Jane & John Doe Apparel, just in time for the fall! They’ve put together an “affordable, chic and unique collection of clothing for both men and women”, but this collection is not your typical fall collection. Manikin decided to flip the script this season with bold color blocking pieces, 80’s inspiration with a little Hip Western and bright colors.

Just a few hours ago Manikin released their promo video for “Jane & John Doe Apparel”.

     As people we listen to a lot of music that talks about the glitz and the glamour of having fame. money, cars and clothes, but we don't listen to too much music that talks about keeping your head up, having faith within yourself and keeping yourself humble. I'm not passing any judgements on anyone because I believe that if you can go to the strip club saturday night and throw up bands then you can go to church the next morning and give a band.

Unlike other renditions of the original "Clique", (Original Kanye West feat. Big Sean & Jay Z), The King doesn't need anyone else because he's his "Own F&*King Clique". Pierre King  writes his own music, directs videos, graphic designs and produces music for his own projects and others. The King may be his own clique, but he's part of a pack, The Wolf Pack. The Wolf Pack are a group of talented young artist from Chicago, consisting of a Dj Gemini Jones, Manager Christian, rap artists Lucci Vee and Queen Nina.

 This video is another Pierre King production. The black and white visuals, along with shots of The King himself with a skully low enough and bandanna tied across his mouth high enough just to see his eyes gives off a very nice thug appeal that matches the content of song and coincides with the gritty beat. Instead of Jay - Z and Big Sean featuring in the video The King had someone better! The Cutest Kid EVER!

   We are in the middle of our research on the "death of hip hop". A lot of people are getting tired of the same ol' lines getting twisted and turned to be put into a different song with a different beat, but saying the same thing. A lot of people are also getting tired of up and coming rappers saying "they bringing something different to the table" and don't. BUT! the same people get hip hop and rap mixed up, not knowing that they are two genres of their own.

Like, why are they on a tennis court  not wearing any tennis gear with two caucasian females? LOL.
